Spring Fine Arts Exhibition - Admiring the Kokin Wakashu Anthology of Ancient and Modern Japanese Poetry

The "Kokin Wakashu Anthology" was the first collection of waka poems compiled by imperial order of Emperor Daigo in the early Heian period. This exhibition features approximately 50 works from the collections of the Goto Museum of Art and the Daitokyu Memorial Collection, including calligraphic works from the Heian and Kamakura periods that were copied from the Kokin Wakashu, as well as poems, classic books, and modern calligraphy related to the Kokin Wakashu (some of which may change during the exhibition period).
