Artists

Shusuke Tanaka
Shusuke Tanaka, born in 1986 in Wakayama, graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 2009 and is currently based in Osaka. The 2022 exhibition at the Osaka City Museum of Natural History garnered significant attention, and participation in the VOCA Exhibition 2023 resulted in winning the Sakuya Konohana Award. Tanaka's art captures surprising moments in everyday life through exaggerated forms and dramatic perspectives, emphasizing emotional expression over accuracy. Recently, the ability to paint an envisioned sky has emerged, evoking themes of nostalgia and memory.
