Shuntai: Rare Master Craftsperson

Seto City Art Museum
Finished
Shuntai, a renowned master potter in Seto ware's 1000-year history, was born into the 10th generation of the Nihei family. This marks Shuntai's first exhibition in 60 years, dating back to 1963. The event will display a range of Shuntai's works and delve into the potter's life through Goyamaya documents. Visitors can appreciate Shuntai's technical prowess and Seto's traditional pottery, rivaling the newly introduced Sometsuke.
