Shinro Ohtake
An exhibition celebrating the publication of a new book of prints by Shinro Ohtake will be held from November 5 (Sat) to November 21 (Mon), 2022. In conjunction with the exhibition, entries for the special limited edition print book with prints will be accepted from November 4 (Fri.) on a special page. On November 5 (Sat), the first day of the exhibition, a talk event will be held at the exhibition site to commemorate the publication.

Shinro Ohtake was born in Tokyo in 1955, graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting, and currently lives and works in Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture. He is also known for his collaborations with artists from different fields and is active not only in contemporary art, but also in design, literature, sound production, and all other genres.

The exhibition will feature a variety of etchings created from various motifs such as music and travel, which Ohtake has been creating for over 40 years since his days as an art student when he was fascinated by the "line.

In addition, in conjunction with the exhibition, online entries for the special limited edition print book with multiple print works will be accepted on a special website from November 4 (Fri.) at 10:00 a.m.
