Shigeru Hasegawa
Shigeru Hasegawa (b. 1963) pursued studies in Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands. Hasegawa emerged in the 1990s as one of the artists associated with the New Figurative Painting movement, which oscillates between the concrete and the abstract. Following a hiatus beginning around 2011, exhibitions resumed in 2019, exploring the essence of painting and evolving the artistic style. This exhibition features selected works, including previously unreleased pieces such as artworks depicting salmon.
