Shigeki Matsuyama
Shigeki Matsuyama, an artist known for paintings, sculptures, and installations, is active internationally. Matsuyama's work Portrait of Dazzle uses dazzle camouflage and social media photos to create altered identities. Matsuyama explores how social media affects self-perception, including smartphone light sources in the portraits. This solo exhibition showcases a new version of Portrait of Dazzle and 14 other pieces, including Portrait of Dazzle (bot), which examines online bots, and overpainted past works.
