The screening program "Women Who Made Japanese Cinema Part 1ー From the Silent Era to the 1960s" will look back on the history of women filmmakers in Japan and highlight films in which women have played an important role in various fields, including directing, production, screenwriting, art, costume design, editing, hair-dressing, and scriptwriting.
