Sander Wassink is a Dutch artist and designer who operates between Japan and the Netherlands. After graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven, he has taught at various design institutions, including his alma mater.

Wassink's work extends beyond mere design, focusing on the significance of the creative process, combining functionality and materials to generate new forms and ideas. His approach involves continuous research, adjustment, and collaboration, organically evolving through daily interactions.

This exhibition features four guest creators: Jo Nagasaka of Schemata Architects; Dutch product designer Job van den Berg; Spanish artist Lucas Muñoz; and Rondade's Osamu Sakuma, who is curating the exhibition.

The project begins with Wassink providing the structural parts of a chair he designed to these professionals, each from diverse backgrounds. They then use this common structural element to design and create their unique chairs.

The resulting collection showcases five unique chairs born from different approaches. These pieces reflect the creators' thoughts on sustainability, collaboration, material properties, industrial processes, composition, and the joy of making things, embodying the diverse perspectives of the five creators.
