Ryu Itadani
At the Pola Museum Annex (Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), an exhibition titled "Everyday Life 'There'" by Ryu Itadani, based in Berlin, will be held from August 9, 2024 (Friday) to September 23, 2024 (Monday, holiday).

Ryu Itadani captures everyday scenes such as cityscapes, plants, and favorite daily items with unique outlines and vibrant colors. His views, filled with freshness and bright sunlight, bring a refreshing perspective and an exhilarating sensation to familiar landscapes and objects.

This exhibition, titled "Everyday Life 'Here & There,'" will be held in collaboration with furniture brand Arflex across two venues. At the Pola Museum Annex, approximately 30 artworks focusing on "There"—distant landscapes and aerial perspectives—will be displayed. A space resembling an atelier will be set up within the venue, where Itadani will engage in live painting on Arflex's iconic sofa "Marenco" for about 10 days from the opening day. Visitors can witness artworks created freely with flowing lines, vibrant colors, and a sense of lively creation unfolding in real time.

Experience Ryu Itadani's world depicted from two perspectives, "There" at Pola Museum Annex (Ginza) and "Here" at Arflex Tokyo (Ebisu).
