Perfume Costume Museum

Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art
Finished
This is the first large-scale exhibition of costumes worn by the three members of Perfume, one of Japan's most famous music groups, for their songs and live performances, displaying approximately 170 pieces.

Perfume has been active at the forefront of the world stage, and the beautiful and creative costumes that have accompanied the three members, A~chan, Kashiyuka, and Nocchi, in front of crowds of sometimes tens of thousands of people, have been a great challenge and joy for them.

This exhibition is the first large-scale costume exhibition to display approximately 170 carefully selected costumes, starting from "Perfume Costume Book 2005-2020" (Bunka Publishing Bureau, 2020). The costumes selected by the three members for this exhibition will also be on display. In addition, stencils and production documents that show the inspiration for the designs will be exhibited for the first time. This is an exhibition that reveals the charm of Perfume through the costumes that have been carefully preserved.
