Mishima ART Log, initiated in 2022 on Iojima, a remote island in Kagoshima, Japan, acts as a platform for artists and islanders to discover Iojima's distinct qualities, showcase its local allure and historical importance, and experiment with new forms of artistic expression. The exhibition delves into various aspects of Iojima, local traditions, rituals, fresh landscape perspectives, the perception of time and distance, and memories of war.
