"We live a single life, the same life." – Emanuele Coccia

This provocative statement by Italian philosopher Emanuele Coccia encapsulates the philosophy from "The Life of Plants." How can we transcend anthropocentrism in the Anthropocene, where human activities profoundly impact the entire planet? What does it mean to care for non-human beings and the global environment?

The key to enabling this transformation is empathy. Metamorphosis connects all life. We are diverse and interconnected, spanning the globe, across time. Metamorphosis is thus ever-present and eternal.

At Zuiun-an, a visionary space symbolizing "tradition and innovation," six Japanese and French artists from different generations and artistic disciplines will explore ecology through their art.
