Sangho Noh
Yukikomizutani is pleased to present “Ghost Brush,” a solo exhibition by South Korean artist Sangho Noh from May 17 to June 15, 2024.
Sangho Noh’s unique style is to collect, reproduce, and transform low-resolution images encountered daily in the virtual digital world of the Internet, and incorporate them into paintings, sculptures, and videos. His works are not only catchy and colorful, but also leave an intense impact on the viewer with a certain sense of awe and fear.
We invite you to view the overwhelming works of this up-and-coming artist at the gallery.
The title of the exhibition is derived from the essay on Sangho Noh’s artistic practice, “The Unmelting Snowman and the Ghost Brush” (2024), written by Leeji Hong, a curator at MMCA Korea.
