Nile Koetting, Nozomu Matsumoto

A selection of works by two artists active both in Japan and abroad, Nile Koetting and Nozomu Matsumoto, is presented from the collection of art collector Takeshi Himemoto.
Koetting works across performance, installation, and video, while Matsumoto specializes in sound design, music composition and curation. They have collaborated on a number of projects, including the installation "Immunotherapy" and the video work "Deep Signals" in which six women explore their own bodies through exercises, rituals, makeup, tattoos, and so on at a radio station in the former German Democratic Republic.
A Japanese tea instructor, Naoko Kakitani, will also host a "Healing Tea Time" event at the exhibition venue.
