This exhibition introduces the charm of illustrations depicted in various media such as old documents, scientific papers, field guides, and dissemination materials, highlighting the fun of communicating through drawings. Exhibits will include illustrations of Japanese creatures depicted in Commodore Perry's expedition records, original drawings of pine cones described as new species through fossils, illustrations from picture books about tidal movements, and detailed observation sketches by members of the Osaka Museum of Natural History Friends Association.
