Naonori Yago
Naonori Yago is an up-and-coming creator who has been active in a variety of fields, including art direction for Laforet Harajuku and other advertisements, CD jackets for artists such as The Yellow Monkey and Akiko Yano, book design for photo books by Kishin Shinoyama and Mikiya Takimoto, and winning the JAGDA New Designer Award in 2023. He is an up-and-coming creator who is active in a variety of fields.
In this exhibition, based on the concept of the conflicts and doubts Yago feels with design daily, he will exhibit his new series "Birds of Beauty and Helplessness," which depicts the appearance of weak creatures while strongly upholding beauty, as well as works from "Rina Ota's Absence," a collaboration with model/actor Rina Ota, based on Ota's desire to "be a line. The exhibition will also include a series of paintings based on Ota's desire to "become a line," from "The Absence of Rina Ota," a collaboration with model/actor Rina Ota, and other works.
