This exhibition features photographs taken in Tokara Islands, Kagoshima Prefecture. Since visiting the island in 2007, Ohji has taken an enormous amount of snapshots of the place. For Ohji, "Tokara" is an attempt to bring the place called Tokara out by photographing non-symbolic things.

The Photographers' Gallery is run by 17 photographers. We have exhibitions of not only our own works, but also non-member's works, lectures, and some events at the gallery. We operate our activities with a broad outlook not limiting photography.
