Pali Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of Naoki Ishikawa.
Ishikawa has been traveling and exhibiting his work globally since he was a teenager. In 2022, he climbed six 8,000-meter peaks in the Himalayas, including K2 (8611 meters above sea level), the second-highest peak in the world. Ishikawa twice attempted to reach K2 in the summers of 2015 and 2019 but was forced to retreat due to avalanches and weather conditions. After the pandemic restrictions were lifted, he finally reached his goal. This exhibition featured photographs from the journey to the top of the K2.
