Naohisa Inoue
Naohisa Inoue is known for his work on the background art for Studio Ghibli's "Whisper of the Heart." In acrylic and oil paintings, he depicts "Ibarade," a world full of light where his hometown is the starting point. In the sky, numerous asteroids and flying islands called Laputa are suspended in the air, and beautifully colored clouds appear.
This exhibition will be held at Bunkamura Gallery for the first time in about three years. The works, painted with nostalgia for childhood, seem to bring back to life the childhood crush that lurks deep within everyone's heart.
