Motohiro Tomii
Motohiro Tomii (1973-), a native of Niigata City and active in the field of contemporary art, has been questioning what the experience of "sculpture" is by creating forms that dislocate their original purpose while using familiar everyday objects.
In this exhibition, his first solo show at the museum, the artist will set up a device called an "exhibition" with works from the museum's collection and other representative works under his direction.
