After winning the Jury Prize at YDC Competition I in 2021, Takahashi Moto, through her company ＜MWMW＞, embarked on her first international tour in 2024 with performances in the United States. This double bill features two new pieces; one focusing on her dance roots in classical ballet, and the other centered on Hip-Hop, which forms the foundation of her work as both a dancer and choreographer. By deconstructing her previously fused style, which integrated various techniques, she seeks to explore new possibilities by concentrating on each individual technique separately. Through contrasting these seemingly opposing styles, she moves towards a new realm of dance, the way she envisions it.
