Tatsuya Tanaka
The Miniature Life exhibition, which has gained popularity in various locations, returns to Yamagata with even more power.

Tatsuya Tanaka is a miniature photographer and visual artist who uses everyday items and diorama dolls as motifs to create artworks in which one everyday object is made to look like another.

Since 2011, he has been posting a daily photo series titled “Miniature Calendar" on the Internet and has been releasing new works without a single day's break. This exhibition introduces approximately 120 photographic works, including some of his best-known works, and 50 actual miniature works, and reveals the fascination of Tatsuya Tanaka's unique world of art and the secrets of his production.
