Artists

Michitaka Masuda
We are pleased to announce Michitaka Masuda's first solo exhibition at OGU MAG.
In this exhibition, he will be showing his “IRON” series, which are mainly made of wood and junk parts of industrial products, and his sculpture series, which are inspired by motifs he has encountered in various media. In the “IRON” series, he creates sculptures by using old car parts and other industrial products as if they were something and complements them with wood carvings, or by composing junk parts around wood carvings. He is strongly influenced by the various cultures of the Showa period, as well as later movies, cartoons, and animations of the 90s science fiction genre.
