Artists

Michiho Hoshino
Michio Hoshino, who longed for the North's beauty since youth, lived in Alaska and tragically died in an accident. Hoshino's stunning photographs and writings of the Arctic's wilderness and wildlife continue to captivate fans even after 25 years. This exhibition showcases the journey from the first visit to an Alaskan village at 20 to the final photographs in Kamchatka, Russia. It also includes rare materials like a letter to Shishmaref’s village chief, tracing Hoshino's exploration of nature and humanity.
