This exhibition, Meriyasu Kataoka's fifth at Voilld and two years since the last one, showcases Kataoka's diverse artwork, which includes plush toy pieces, toys, wood, and more. Kataoka's creations exude vitality, individuality, and a sense of childhood joy. In "Eyes," Kataoka focuses on the eyes of the characters in the works of the artist, inspired by a collection of surplus plush toy parts. This new approach results in unexpected and unique creations, emphasizing the value of serendipity. Approximately 50 three-dimensional artworks will be on display, reflecting Kataoka's commitment to enriching the world through Kataoka's unique perspective and respect for diversity.
