Martin Parr
Some photo shoots feature models, while others feature people spotted on the streets. Some resemble documentaries, while others evoke a fashion-like aesthetic, and at times, they even seem like art. What's exciting is how difficult it is to distinguish these differences. Traditional boundaries that once separated fashion, art, and documentary photography are fading, and I enjoy exploring their fusion.
This exhibition aims to showcase Martin Parr's perspective of fashion as a concept or phenomenon rather than a material object. Through a selection of 16 works, a mix of Parr's picks, and those chosen by the gallery, the exhibition provides an opportunity for reconsidering "fashion."
