Mami Mori
Takako Takamizawa's book, "Two Painters, One House: The Life of Mami Mori" has just been published by Tokyo Shoseki.

The biography of Mami Mori, who aspired to become a painter in the chaos of the postwar period and went to Paris to study by herself, and who shared her life of hardship and pleasure with the art world star Naoro Domoto, is a valuable record that may provide insights not only into art history but also into the history of culture and women in postwar Japan. Nantenshi Gallery is holding this exhibition in commemoration of the publication.
