From January 13, 2024, Hidari Zingaro will be holding a solo exhibition by Makoto Fukushima titled "Makoto Fukushima Solo Exhibition: Mashiko Pottery."
Makoto Fukushima, who was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1978, began making pottery as a hobby and began his career as an artist in earnest in 2011. Currently, Fukushima continues to create works based in Mashiko-cho, Haga-gun, Tochigi Prefecture. Fukushima's works are characterized by their rough texture and robustness and shown in several group exhibitions. This will be Fukushima's second solo exhibition at Hidari Zingaro.
