This exhibition will be held at the same time as Art Osaka2023 and will tour around Osaka Central Public Hall, Creative Center Osaka, and Graf Porch, to stimulate local culture during and after the exhibition period.
Starting with the "river" connecting the various venues, the exhibition will compare recent art trends and artworks to the changing state of water, and reconsider the relationship between the art fairs that have been held continuously in Osaka, which was once supported by water transportation and developed as an economic and cultural center of the city.
Like a gaze at "something on the other side of the river," which is blurred and difficult to see unless one stares intently, this project aims to create a "blank space" for viewers to imagine the background and events themselves, and to create a new cultural exchange with art from multiple perspectives that can be enjoyed because there is no correct way to appreciate art.
