The main part of the exhibition will be Little Bear Books #2 "RE#1 TS-5 P-58, TS-6 N-52, TS-6 N-53, TS-6 Y-6, TS-8 N-52, TS-10 N-57, TS-10 P-58, Kirabiki Ginnezu+Shino+Pink, Orange, Gold”.
This long title refers to the eight paper names, the images printed on them, and the printing expression. The concept is to use paper that is no longer economically necessary, such as paper that is no longer sold from standing stock or cardboard that is discarded, and to recycle it into a book that evokes the presence of the paper itself.
In addition, printing was done with the cooperation of the Nagoya University of Arts Printing Studio, making extensive use of risograph and silk printing, which is experimental and gives the book the warmth of the hand. The book is bound with a bare PUR spine to emphasize the volume of the 8-color paper. 25 books in total, recently completed after the exhibition at Paper Voice Vellum (Nagoya) in March this year, where 11 books were displayed, will be exhibited, including dummies and test prints made in the design and production process.
