The second part of the grand opening of The Mirror, "Listening to the Melodies of Spring: Toshio Arimoto in Matsukawa Box" will be held.

Toshio Arimoto passed away at the age of 38 in February 1985. However, the paintings created in the short span of over ten years continue to captivate many people even today.

The gallery The Mirror, set in a private residence, is a place to enjoy art and the architectural space surrounding it. Toshio Arimoto's works are not something to simply pass by but should be viewed slowly and carefully.

The exhibition is titled "Listening to the Melodies of Spring" as it will be held from April to May. Arimoto loved music. The main image for this exhibition is a piece themed on spring from the work "Les Quatre Saisons." This piece pays homage to Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons." Baroque music concerts are planned to be held during the exhibition period.
