Kunje Cho
From the 1960s to the 1980s, Kunje Cho (1933-1997) visited leprosy treatment centers in various parts of Japan, capturing images of people who continued to live amidst discrimination, with a particular focus on the Korean residents in Japan. With the cooperation of the National Hansen's Disease Museum, this exhibition introduces the diverse work of Kunje Cho through approximately 180 photographs, many of which have never been exhibited before.
