Kazunari Hirota
Kazunari Hirota creates paintings that display both generation and decay simultaneously. Ventriloquism shows the state of a human being who tries to be proactive, but is also driven by something unknowable. Using the original motif of the Tower of Babel, Skyscraper symbolizes our human nature to continue building and expanding in a dangerous attempt to cover the world with artificiality. And, a city is the aggregate of human emotions and the field in which we live in reality. Using these three motifs, Hirota depicts a microcosm of our world dynamically and humorously.
