Based on "Field" theory proposed by Jun Aoki, the architect of Aomori Museum of Art, various unique spaces including exhibition rooms are likened to individual "fields," creating a place where art can be discovered, appreciated, and experienced both inside and outside the museum, thus generating a significant "connection" throughout the entire museum, not just within the exhibition rooms. The diverse spaces where artworks are displayed function as "clues" for people to think and act freely, without any predetermined rules. While exploring the prefectural art museum as a city, please try to freely evoke your senses, emotions, and thoughts through the interaction between the environment and your body. By organically intertwining each space that constitutes the museum, this exhibition will reflect themes such as the "interaction between nature and humans," "interaction between the dead and the living," and "interaction between past, present, and future" within the relationship of space × art × viewer. By linking and circulating spaces and artworks like the ecosystem of a rich blue forest, the aim is to fill the entire museum with new vitality to pave the way for the future.
