Artists

Junko Koshino
Born in Kishiwada, Osaka, Junko Koshino was the youngest winner of the Soen Award in 1960, which is considered a gateway to success for new designers. Since then, Koshino has been active as a Tokyo-based fashion designer. While she has held shows around the world to high acclaim, in recent years she has been breaking new ground beyond the realm of fashion design.

This exhibition is the largest-ever exhibition of Junko Koshino's activities, which are always at the forefront of fashion and new creations. The exhibition will explore the appeal of Junko Koshino's work through approximately 200 items, including costumes, design drawings, and photo panels.
