Artists

Junaida
In recent years, picture book artist Junaida has gained attention for his publications such as "Michi," "No," and "Kaibutsuen" (published by Fukonkan Shoten). Junaida's works feature a mysterious world reminiscent of Europe, with intricately detailed characters and backgrounds. Within vibrant colors, a peculiar universe where brightness and darkness coexist has garnered significant acclaim.

This is the first large-scale solo exhibition by Junaida held at the Itami City Museum as part of a touring exhibition. Over 400 works, including original illustrations from picture books and standalone paintings, will be displayed in a fantastical world adorned with red and gold.

In addition, an exhibition catalog and various original museum goods will be available for purchase. The design of promotional materials and the exhibition catalog will be handled by Kozufish, known for book designs such as "No," and "Kaibutsuen."
