Dessins & Peintures is a series of three solo exhibitions, each presenting new and different work on paper in the medium of drawing (dessin) and painting (peinture) by French artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck. Ed. 03 (Late Autumn) at Totodo eu in Tokyo focuses on Johanna’s abstract pieces.
As an artist with a background in dance, Johanna enjoys rhythm and movements. In this exhibition and through new paintings and drawings, she explores further abstract works contained in her sketchbook over the past decade, some of which are featured in the book Carnets, published in 2024 by Chose Commune.
All artworks are framed in non-reflective glass, signed and available to purchase at Totodo.
