Insect Maniac

National Museum of Nature and Science
Finished
This exhibition, themed around insects, marks the first time in six years since the highly acclaimed "Insect" exhibition held in 2018, which attracted over 400,000 visitors.

Insects constitute the largest group of organisms on Earth, accounting for over half of the reported species, totaling approximately one million species. Although most of them are small creatures measuring less than 1cm in length, their diversity, ranging from body structure to behavior and abilities, is remarkably vast and varied. Countless undiscovered insect species still exist worldwide, with potential new species and discoveries waiting to be found even in our familiar environments.

The "Insect Maniac" special exhibition will offer a glimpse into the world of diverse and surprising insects, including familiar insects like beetles and stag beetles, as well as "bugs" such as spiders and centipedes. It will feature meticulously selected insect specimens from the museum's researchers, showcasing their expert and enthusiast perspectives, along with the latest research on insects.
