The Best of Meiji Crafts" exhibition toured six museums nationwide, including the Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art, Gifu, from 2014 to 2016. The second exhibition, "Amazing Superlative Techniques! From Meiji Crafts to Contemporary Art," which traveled to five museums nationwide from 2017 to 2019, showcasing not only the superb techniques of Meiji crafts but also work by selected contemporary artists with techniques and sensibilities comparable to those of the Meiji period. More than 200,000 visitors were particularly impressed by the works of contemporary artists.

This exhibition is the third in the series, and in addition to Meiji crafts from the collection of the Kiyomizu Sannenzaka Museum of Art and private collections, the exhibition focuses on new works by contemporary artists who practice training in solitary settings that put incredible strain on themselves.
