Imon: Gifts from the Home Front

National Showa Memorial Museum
Finished
During wartime, it was encouraged as a duty to send care packages to soldiers stationed far from home. These packages included letters, personal items, and entertainment goods. Entertainment groups also formed to visit soldiers, performing shows and providing morale-boosting activities. The exhibition will showcase these wartime care efforts, including letters, items sent to the front lines, and the activities of entertainment groups.
