Immersive Museum Osaka

Dojima River Forum
Finished
"Immersive Museum Osaka" is a new art experience program based on the keyword “immersive," which has become a global trend in theater, art, and entertainment in recent years. The world of masterpieces is recreated in a vast indoor space by combining special sound effects and immersive images projected on all walls and floor surfaces.

Participants are free to walk around in the space, and beyond the act of "seeing" and "appreciating" through the sense of sight, the sound and images create the ultimate art experience as if they have entered the world of the masterpiece with their entire body.

The theme of the first exhibition to be held in Japan is “Impressionism," which features several masterpieces by Impressionists such as Claude Monet's internationally famous "Waterlilies," Degas' "Dancer" and Renoir's "Ball at Moulin de la Galette.”

The exhibition is a visualization of the 6-meter-high, 450-square-meter giant space that recreates the world of these works as seen from the viewpoints of the impressionist artists, significantly evolving the "viewing" experience of art.
