Dojima River Forum
Finished
"Immersive Museum OSAKA 2024" is a new art experience program that focuses on "Immersive," a keyword that has become a global trend in the fields of theater, art, and entertainment in recent years. By combining special sound effects with immersive projections on all walls and floors, the vast indoor space recreates the world of famous paintings. Participants can freely walk around this space, going beyond the acts of "looking" and "viewing" through visuals, to ultimately experience the world of the paintings with their entire body, enabled by sound and projection. This second installment in Japan focuses on "Post-Impressionism," featuring video adaptations of many Post-Impressionist masterpieces, including Van Gogh's "Sunflowers" and "Starry Night," and Seurat's "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte." The vast space of 6 meters in height and approximately 450 square meters* recreates the world of works from the perspective of Post-Impressionist artists, significantly evolving the experience of "viewing" art. *The height and area refer to the total space area. The projection area may vary.
