Hoofprints to World Championship

Tokyo National Museum
Until Oct 20
In 1954, the Japan Racing Association (JRA) was established to promote the healthy development of horse racing, marking its 70th anniversary this year. In 2022, the Tokyo National Museum recognized the story of "People and Horses" as a future national treasure during its 150th anniversary project. This exhibition explores the long history between horses and humans, showcasing the universal appeal of racing through historical paintings, valuable artifacts, and an immersive experience titled "Time Travel through Horse Racing History."
