Haruka Makita
Born in Kyoto in 1988 and currently based in Osaka, Haruka Makita graduated from the Illustration Course of the Visual Design Department of Kyoto Seika University in 2011 and has been active as a painter and illustrator. Influenced by ukiyo-e and other works from the past, Makita weaves a contemporary sensibility into her works to create works that evoke the past and present, the connection between time and the present, and the passage of time.
