Hara Vol. 3

BnA Alter Museum
Finished

Artists

Keita Sato, Keiko Shimaoka, Mio Heki, Misaki Miyamoto
The exhibition series "Hara" introduces artists and designers who, in celebration of the gallery's 5th anniversary, contribute through collaborative production and artwork provision (a total of 3 installments).

The final installment, "Hara vol.3," features works by four collaborators: Keita Sato, who explores the possibilities of blown glass through custom glass production in small quantities; Yoshiko Shimaoka, who creates irresponsible and experimental embroidery works liberated from conventional norms and constraints; Mio Heki, who investigates the beauty of boundaries using lacquer, exploring what divides, connects, and unites; and Misaki Miyamoto, who navigates the space between fiction and reality by depicting and creating polyvalent "niwa" (gardens), examining the relationships between all things. Their works will be displayed on the 1st and 2nd floors of BnA Alter Museum.
