This exhibition presents two series, H/F and Grey, which Hirakawa has been working on in recent years.

H/F is a project created in collaboration with the dancer Conan Amok. It features artwork by Hirakawa, measuring 2m x 4m, capturing the shadows of Ametora's dance movements. In this exhibition, live dance performances will be conducted to cast shadows on the flat artworks. The dance score performed during the event was conceptualized and created through discussions between Amok and Hirakawa.

On the other hand, "Grey" is a project undertaken in collaboration with composer, singer, and lyricist Jun Futamata. It aims to express the complexities of a world where issues like good and evil, war and peace, and perpetrator and victim cannot be easily defined in black and white. Using music (records) and prints (record jackets), "Grey" reflects on the changing light throughout the day at the atelier on August 15th. For the print works in this exhibition, a range of 96 shades of gray, from black to white, was custom mixed with the cooperation of Turner Color Corporation to represent the concept of the "gray zone" by Primo Levi, a survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp. The audio recordings on the records utilize only human voices, without any instruments, to create prayers that are inclusive of all humanity, regardless of religion, nationality, or race. Additionally, the continuous rhythm characteristic of post-classical music corresponds with the continuity of the print works, expressing the ephemeral nature of time and the repeated actions of humanity.

During each event, a talk show will be held to discuss behind-the-scenes stories and insights from the production process.
