Grand Palais Immersif - The Eternal Mucha

Shibuya Hikarie Hall
Until Jan 19
Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) was a painter who thrived in Paris from the late 19th to the early 20th century. A quintessential figure of Art Nouveau, Mucha's works became symbols of sophistication, elegance, and modernism, inspiring artists around the world and continuing to captivate audiences to this day.

This exhibition, a collaboration between the Grand Palais Immersif and the Mucha Foundation, which garnered worldwide attention in Paris in 2023, has been adapted for a Japanese audience. "Éternel Mucha," an immersive exhibition showcasing the masterpieces created by the great artist throughout his lifetime, is now making its debut in Japan, offering a new sensory experience through high-resolution projections in a unique immersive space.

Centered around immersive visuals, the exhibition presents Mucha's life, artistic achievements, and influence on future generations through a combination of scholarly perspectives and diverse presentations. This winter, visitors can enjoy an innovative way to experience art exhibitions.
