Artists

Alphonse Mucha
Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) was a designer who created numerous posters that adorned turn-of-the-century Paris, and a painter who depicted grand themes with profound oil paintings. He is considered an artist with two faces. However, what permeates both facets is his overwhelming sculptural power that can make any material "Mucha-esque." This exhibition unravels the greatest charm of Mucha, which lies in his power of form, showcasing prints, oil paintings, and valuable sketches.
