The TV program "Sesame Street," which has been broadcast in Japan since the 1970s, was somehow different from Japanese programs, offering an opportunity to feel a foreign country even as a child. Bert and Ernie, who appeared as close friends on the TV screen, would become memorable representations of Sesame Street especially for Face.
In this work, Bert and Ernie with Face's iconic facial expressions are posed in the same pose as if to express their close friendship. This work is a fusion of the past, the memories that face felt at the time, and the present, where Face has found their main method of expression as an artist.
