The Anzai Gallery will host an upcoming exhibition "Desert Gestures" from March 22nd to April 20th, showcasing the rich history and culture of Australia's Indigenous Aboriginal people of Australia. This exhibition marks our gallery's first venture into Aboriginal art, brought to life through collaboration with Mayumi Uchida and the Ebes Collection, featuring works by 11 outstanding Aboriginal artists. Esteemed artists such as Ally Kamarre, Josepha Petrick Kemmare, and Belinda Golder Kngwarreye will explore Aboriginal culture and the vast landscapes and stories behind it.
The exhibition delivers an immersive experience that celebrates the vibrant strength and beauty of Aboriginal culture, taking visitors on a journey through the lands cherished by the artists.
Additionally, the opening reception will feature appearances by artists Teresa Purla and Mayumi Uchida.
